Longlea
Located just west of Pleasant Valley, Longlea contains a number of family-friendly neighborhoods at a variety of price points. Most Longlea homes were built in the 1970s, but many areas feature newer homes.
Among Longlea’s many distinct neighborhoods are two gated communities, Hickory Hills and Hickory Creek, which feature impressive larger homes on oversized lots. Other neighborhoods in the area are Secluded Hills, Pebble Beach Woods and Park, Chenal Ridge, Hillsborough, Marlowe Manor and the popularly-priced Pleasant Forest. In addition, there are condominium and patio home complexes.
Some families in Longlea are included in the zone for Don Roberts Elementary School, a new, cutting-edge primary school. Also in the area is the popular Little Rock Athletic Club, a private fitness facility offering tennis and racquetball courts and two pools.
Home prices in Longlea range from $200,000 to $500,000.
