Developed in the 1960s as Little Rock pushed west, Pleasant Valley is centered around the Pleasant Valley Country Club. The neighborhood features gracious homes built for families that moved from The Heights and Hillcrest in search of larger, more modern homes.

Many retail shops and restaurants are located nearby, with easy access to I-630 and Cantrell Road.
